💚 May 5th, 2025 Mental Health Monday at WHS: Prioritizing Wellness, One Week at a Time

At Woodsville High School, we believe mental health is just as important as academic achievement. That’s why every Monday, we shine a light on self-care, support, and mental wellness as part of our Mental Health Monday initiative.

High school can be exciting, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. Between assignments, extracurriculars, social dynamics, and future planning, it’s easy for students to feel stressed or anxious. Mental Health Monday is a gentle reminder for everyone—students, staff, and families—to check in with themselves and others.

We want our students to know:

  • 💬 It’s okay to not be okay.

  • 💚 You are never alone.

  • Support is always within reach.

Whether it’s taking a mindful moment, speaking with a trusted adult, or just breathing through a tough day, we encourage everyone to find what helps them feel grounded. Small steps toward wellness can make a big difference.

If you or someone you know needs support, WHS counselors, teachers, and staff are here to help. Together, we can build a culture where mental health is prioritized, and kindness is the norm.

Let’s keep the conversation going. Let’s take care of ourselves and one another.
Happy Mental Health Monday, Engineers. 💚🚂
