♕Chess Club begins Monday November 5 after school in the library and runs through Monday March 30. Come to enjoy the game, improve your game, or learn the game. See Mr. Tuite or Mrs. Peckett if you have any questions.

🥊 The NEW WHS Boxing Club will meet today in Room 15 during Roundhouse
The Library will be closed at noon in preparation for the JAG Initiation Ceremony

🚆Senior Dues are due…November 1st

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. It began as a tribute to fallen DEA special agent Enrique Camerena in 1985.

* Visit the LLC next Friday during Roundhouse for a special Red Ribbon Week presentation!

Please turn in your SoccerFest Silver Cord Forms to Mrs. Maccini by end of day today!

PSATs will be offered on October 30th. Juniors who would like to take them can sign up in Guidance. The cost is $17 and needs to be paid when you sign up. Payment with check is preferred.

* Seniors be sure to start checking the scholarship kiosk outside of Guidance regularly. New scholarships are coming in every week.

Mrs. Farr will be taking up to 15 juniors and seniors to an Open House at White Mountains Community College on Friday, November 15th. Students who are interested can sign up in Guidance with Ms. McLure by Monday, October 28th.

Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen entries are due Thursday, October 31st by noon.

National Honor Society is hosting a costume this Halloween. For only a dollar, you can wear your costume all day. Masks are not permitted, and hats are only allowed if they are apart of a costume. All the proceeds will go to UNICEF. Bring a dollar and get your spooky on!

If you are interested in playing basketball or skiing, sign up online at the Woodsville High School athletics page between now and November 18th to be eligible to participate. See Mr. Lester if you have any questions.
