WHS Foodie Friday – Summer Recipe: Frozen Fruit Smoothie Cups

Looking for a refreshing, easy-to-make summer snack? This week’s Foodie Friday feature is a cool treat you can enjoy all summer long — no stove required!

These Frozen Fruit Smoothie Cups are perfect for hot afternoons, easy breakfasts, or just kicking back after a game.


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

  • 1/2 cup orange juice (or your favorite juice)

  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness


🌀 Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour the smoothie mixture into small paper cups or a muffin tin.

  3. Insert a spoon or popsicle stick into each cup.

  4. Freeze for 2–3 hours or until solid.

  5. Peel and enjoy — no mess, just chill!
