A Message from Principal Coon – WHS Spring 2025 Updates
As we move through this exciting spring season, I want to take a moment to personally thank our students, staff, and local law enforcement for their outstanding response to last week’s challenging situation. The strength and unity displayed by our WHS community was nothing short of remarkable. I am incredibly proud of how everyone came together, and we are deeply grateful for the swift support and professionalism of our first responders. 👏
🎨 Spring Arts Show & Concert – Thursday, May 15th!
We are thrilled to invite you to one of the most anticipated events of the year—the Spring Arts Show & Concert! This special evening celebrates the creativity, passion, and talent of our amazing students.
🕠 5:30 PM – School Tours & Student Art Displays
Explore the incredible work produced by our students across a variety of classes, including Art, Wilderness Technology, Housing & Interior Design, and more! It’s a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand the creativity and dedication our students bring to their learning.
🎶 6:30 PM – Spring Concert
Join us in the Dr. John Bagonzi Community Building for a night of inspiring performances by our talented Chorus and Band. We promise an evening filled with music, energy, and Engineer pride!

👏 Honoring Mr. Mike Strauch
As we look ahead to the end of the school year, I would also like to recognize and celebrate the dedicated service of our Dean of Students, Mr. Mike Strauch, who will be retiring after 11 incredible years with Woodsville High School. His leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact on our students and community.
In recognition of this transition, the position will return to Assistant Principal, a role it held prior to Mr. Strauch’s tenure. We will be sharing the hiring timeline and process for this position in the coming weeks.
