May 27th, 2025 Technology Tuesday: Keep Learning All Summer Long with Safe & Free Online Resources!

As the school year comes to a close, students may be ready to power down their Chromebooks—but that doesn’t mean the learning has to stop!

At Woodsville High School, we believe that curiosity and creativity don’t take a summer break. That’s why for this week’s #TechnologyTuesday, we’re highlighting a safe, free, and family-friendly website that can help students stay sharp and engaged during the summer months: Khan Academy.

Khan Academy offers interactive lessons in:

  • Math (from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus)

  • Science (including biology, physics, and chemistry)

  • History & Social Studies

  • Art, Economics, and more!

The platform is easy to use and totally free—no subscriptions or surprise costs. Whether students want to review material from this past year or explore something brand new, Khan Academy makes it simple and fun.

Why keep learning over the summer?

  • Avoid the “summer slide” and retain academic skills

  • Get a head start on next year’s classes

  • Build confidence in challenging subjects

  • Stay curious and explore personal interests

Encourage your student to set aside just a few minutes a day to explore, learn, and grow. It’s a great way to turn downtime into discovery time!

Stay smart, stay safe, and have a wonderful summer, Engineers! 💚🚂
