♕Chess Club begins Monday November 4th after school in the library and runs through Monday March 30. Come to enjoy the game, improve your game, or learn the game. See Mr. Tuite or Mrs. Peckett if you have any questions.
The National Honor Society is hosting a Costume Day this Halloween. For only a dollar, you can wear your costume all day on October 31st. Masks are not permitted, and hats are only allowed if they are a part of a costume. All the proceeds will go to UNICEF.

At this point…the UNICEF fund to have Mr. Nichols wear the Baby Costume is only $10.50 – Mr. Nichols thanks all those who have not donated so that he does not have to wear that ridiculous costume!

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. It began as a tribute to fallen DEA special agent Enrique Camerena in 1985.

Important Notice: The French and Spanish Club are now going to meet alternating Mondays….
the French Club will meet November 4, the Spanish on November 11 and so on.
*We have a community member who lives in Woodsville and is looking for help moving. She needs help with some window cleaning and moving boxes into a storage container. Students interested in getting some community service hours can call her at 747-2590 (ask for Mrs. Hamel).
* Seniors be sure to start checking the scholarship kiosk outside of Guidance regularly. New scholarships are coming in every week.
PSAT Test on Wednesday
Mrs. Farr will be taking up to 15 juniors and seniors to an Open House at White Mountains Community College on Friday, November 15th. Students who are interested can sign up in Guidance with Ms. McLure by Monday, October 28th.

Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen entries are due Thursday, October 31st by noon.
If you are interested in playing basketball or skiing, sign up online at the Woodsville High School athletics page between now and November 18th to be eligible to participate. See Mr. Lester if you have any questions.
