Fall Frolic is Friday!
There is no Riverbend this Friday. 3rd period at WHS will begin at 10:09.
Morning Riverbend students should be here on time to begin their third period class.
-Important reminders-
In order that Roundhouse work effectively and productively for all involved, the faculty would like to remind all students of the following expectations:
Backpacks are not to be brought to Roundhouse.
You need to visit your lockers before and after Roundhouse, not during.
When you are called to another Roundhouse by a teacher, you are to remain there for the entire period.
Athletes are not to use Roundhouse time to change unless so directed by the Athletic Director.
There is no Open Gym on Tuesdays.
French Club will meet on Thursday, October 3
Class of 2020 seniors will be selling Poinsettias from October 18th to November 1st.
(They will be delivered to you shortly before Thanksgiving)
Class of 2020 – Senior Portraits for the 2020 Yearbook are due no later than the 31st of October.

The JAG/Red Cross Blood Drive will be on October 22nd from 1-5

PSATs will be offered on October 30th. Juniors who would like to take them can sign up in Guidance. The cost is $17 and needs to be paid when you sign up. Payment with check is preferred.
* Seniors be sure to start checking the scholarship kiosk outside of Guidance regularly. New scholarships are coming in every week.

Literary Pumpkin Contest
Students and Staff may decorate a pumpkin in their favorite(school appropriate) author/ book character. (If you are decorating a real pumpkin…please bring something to place it on). Pumpkins can be turned in to the WHS Library & Learning Commons anytime starting on Monday, October 28th. Judging will take place on Wednesday, October 30th from 2:30-3(Roundhouse).
Winners will be announced the next morning. Win a Dunkin Donuts Gift Card!

The Wellness Committee is looking for student members. The committee meets 4 times a year after school. If you are interested in what Wellness activities occur this year or you would like to provide some feedback about our food services company, please see Mrs. Mulliken for more details. The first meeting is next week.
The GEAR UP! school store is packed with items FREE to WHS students, we want to encourage ALL students to use it. The items have been donated by your community for you! Shopping bags are available in the store, please leave hangers in the designated area.

The American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to help with their blood drive on Friday, October 18th from 3-6pm. Volunteers would help with refreshments and registration. Please see Guidance if you are interested.
