Nondiscrimination Statement
The School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious creed, color, national origin, disability, sex marital status, age and/or sexual orientation in its programs and activities.
In keeping with the requirements of federal and state law, the district strives to remove any vestige of discrimination in educational opportunities and services offered students, in their assignment to schools and classes, in their discipline and in educational offerings and materials.
Title IX Statement
Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C.Β§Β§ 1691 et seq., prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities receiving federal funds, including discrimination in employment and student admissions. All SAU 23 Public Schools students, applicants and employees are covered by this law.
