🎶✨ A Musical Journey: WHS Students Meet Annelise Cepero! ✨🎶

Students from Ms. Zampieri’s Personalized Music Class and Chorus at Woodsville High School recently embarked on an unforgettable musical journey during a special Zoom session with actress and singer Annelise Cepero. A former student of Ms. Zampieri, Annelise shared her inspiring story, proving that dreams really can come true with dedication and perseverance.

Reflecting on her time teaching Annelise at a private school in Connecticut, Ms. Zampieri said, “Annelise was a dedicated music student who always sang from her heart. Her success and willingness to inspire others is truly remarkable.”

During the session, WHS students had the unique opportunity to ask Annelise about her experiences in the entertainment industry, including auditioning for Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story and roles on popular TV shows like Pose, Law & Order: SVU, and Blue Bloods. Annelise’s advice to students was clear: “Never give up on your dreams.” She candidly shared her journey through auditioning during Covid, maintaining a positive outlook, and persevering through challenges.

WHS Chorus students Kate Maccini and Taydin Glynn expressed their appreciation: “She was so friendly, fun, and honest about what it takes to make it. We’re so impressed she took the time to answer all our questions!”

Ms. Zampieri is no stranger to connecting students with inspiring artists. Her classes have previously engaged with renowned musicians such as Richard Fortus of Guns N’ Roses and Grammy-winning trumpeter Chris Botti. These experiences continue to inspire students to dream big and pursue their passions in the arts.

A heartfelt thank you to Annelise Cepero for taking the time to inspire the next generation of performers at WHS. Your story is a shining example of resilience and determination! 🌟
