๐Ÿ’š May 5th, 2025 Mental Health Monday at WHS: Prioritizing Wellness, One Week at a Time

At Woodsville High School, we believe mental health is just as important as academic achievement. Thatโ€™s why every Monday, we shine a light on self-care, support, and mental wellness as part of our Mental Health Monday initiative.

High school can be exciting, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. Between assignments, extracurriculars, social dynamics, and future planning, itโ€™s easy for students to feel stressed or anxious. Mental Health Monday is a gentle reminder for everyoneโ€”students, staff, and familiesโ€”to check in with themselves and others.

We want our students to know:

  • ๐Ÿ’ฌ Itโ€™s okay to not be okay.

  • ๐Ÿ’š You are never alone.

  • โœจ Support is always within reach.

Whether itโ€™s taking a mindful moment, speaking with a trusted adult, or just breathing through a tough day, we encourage everyone to find what helps them feel grounded. Small steps toward wellness can make a big difference.

If you or someone you know needs support, WHS counselors, teachers, and staff are here to help. Together, we can build a culture where mental health is prioritized, and kindness is the norm.

Letโ€™s keep the conversation going. Letโ€™s take care of ourselves and one another.
Happy Mental Health Monday, Engineers. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿš‚
