1/20/26 WHS Athletics: A Packed Week of Competition, Practice, and Engineer Pride!

Woodsville High School Athletics is heading into a busy and exciting week, with multiple home games at Bagonzi Gym, ski events at Cannon Mountain, and full practice schedules across winter sports. It’s a great stretch of the season to come out, support our student-athletes, and show that Engineer pride.

The week kicks off on Tuesday with Ski Team training at Cannon Mountain, while basketball action gets underway at Bagonzi Gym as the JV Girls host Oxbow. Varsity teams will also be on the court for evening practices, setting the tone for the rest of the week.

On Wednesday, the focus shifts to preparation, with JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys all practicing at Bagonzi Gym. These sessions are key as teams fine-tune skills and game plans for upcoming matchups.

Thursday brings a full night of energy and excitement at Bagonzi Gym, highlighted by Cheer Game Night and two home games against Mascoma. Both JV Girls and JV Boys will take the floor, giving fans plenty of action and school spirit in one evening.

The week wraps up on Friday with a big day for winter sports. The Ski Team competes in a GS/SL race at Cannon Mountain, while basketball fans can head back to Bagonzi Gym for Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys HOME games vs. Gorham.

With so much happening, it’s a great time to support WHS Athletics. Whether you’re cheering from the stands at Bagonzi Gym or following along from the slopes at Cannon, our Engineers are putting in the work and representing Woodsville with pride.
