Monday, January 6th, 2020 WHS Announcements

If you have an internship next semester…
please see Mr. Nichols ASAP.
Dartmouth College will be offering a great summer opportunity for high school students who have an interest in science, health, and business.See for more info.

Engineers of Sound is an 8-12 voice vocal ensemble at WHS. Our goal is to sight read and perform challenging choral literature. Last year the group performed the national anthem at many school and community events, and also sang for Governor Sununu and the Executive Council in Concord.
The ensemble presently has 6 members, and we are looking to add 2-5 voices depending on audition results.

Auditions will take place in roundhouse from Jan 6-10th. Students must request an audition time from Mrs. Flateau and will be signed up during an available roundhouse day.

Please prepare 30 seconds of anything you love to sing – memorized. This is so you can demonstrate your vocal tone and show me you can be comfortable singing in front of others. You will also be asked to sight read a short selection of music.

Audition results will be posted on the music room door the following week.

It is National Hat Day on January 15th – Get Ready for the Crazy Chapeau Contest!
Students and Staff are encouraged to wear hats on this day.

The WHS Library will be closed on Monday during Roundhouse
Juniors are to report to Roundhouse for attendance and then go to the Library.

The first math team practice is Thursday during Roundhouse. If you are interested in joining the team, please see Mrs. Mulliken in room 13.

The Woodsville Library will have a competition during the month of January to design the “Official Bookmark of Woodsville Library”. Visit the library for bookmark templates and if you have any questions.
